Rachel Alvarez

Rachel Alvarez is pursuing a post-baccalaureate certificate in paralegal studies from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois, through an ABA approved program. She previously earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications in 2024 from Saint Xavier University. Rachel’s experience as a paralegal immigration intern at St Pauls United Church of Christ has helped her develop a strong foundation in legal research and client support. Rachel also brings valuable communication experience from her time as a legislative intern for Congresswoman Robin Kelly, where she contributed policy research and bill recommendations on key issues such as climate change, immigration, and healthcare. She is fluent in Spanish and English and proficient in legal technology platforms like Westlaw, LexisNexis, and sharepoint. Rachel is dedicated and detail oriented. She hopes to assist the immigrant community with any legal issues they have.
